5th grader twins Lee and Jay had never spoken to anyone outside their families – 10 sessions later,they are talking to the key-worker, the teachers and a few friends, and their lives are opening up before them! What happened in those 10 sessions to cause this wondrous change? The parents, teachers and key-worker were guided to each implement a tailor-made exposure stepladder, taking them week by week up tiny steps toward improved social communication. All in the children’s’ real life settings – home and school – and a wonderful force of change has been set in motion!
